Posting some Andrew McKenzie records, I knew there was a risk of seeing him ask to remove the posts as he often did on other blogs sharing The Hafler Trio material - though I made the choice, as I always try to do, to post only long time out-of-print releases (he has also expressed his views here). His message has arrived but this time this is not only a request to remove the links but also a kind of proposal. Feel free to answer him in comments. Here is the message :

"Scuffle" was originally planned as a commemorative version of Thulé Apocalypse (1999-2009) from Old Europa Cafe (as a complementary mini-CD). The title is a montage around contemporary material circa Thulé Apocalypse and Compendium period. The track was of 19 minutes length including multiple phased sequences. The 23 minutes version has been specially mixed for the current on-line edition. The attached booklet is also an unpublished early Pacific 231 document dating from the Unusual Perversions era (due to cost reason, the printed complement was phased-out).

Followers of that blog probably know or have heard about english duo Pump. Last year, a few months after one member of the duo (Andrew Cox) passed away, their second album, Sombrero Fallout, was finally released, 17 years after it was recorded ! To complete that re-discovery, Forced Nostalgia has just re-released the excellent first Pump album, The Decoration Of The Duma Continues, that will be soon available on CD for the very first time...
I thought that was the right time to help discover their earlier work. Before Pump, Andrew Cox and David Elliott were playing as MFH and were running the YHR Tapes label. Andrew Via was kind enough to rip four tapes of that label that I'm gonna post now. Let's begin with "First Move", the very first tape of both MFH and YHR Tapes.
