L'œuvre d'Abneurone défie les catégories. Héritière des "casseurs de langue" des années 1970, elle reste singulière, cherchant à atteindre l'hypoderme du Dire, pour en exprimer le spectre le plus subtil, racinaire, souvent à l'extrême limite du dicible, quitte à désarçonner le lecteur, peu habitué à nager en eaux aussi profondes, forcément un peu troubles ; perturbant ses derniers repères, avec une rigueur et une précision de niveau chirurgical.

Marc Alhanati, who has released several albums under the names Dark Alceste De Socaï Vômie and Dark Vomal Âme-Code, stopped making music for a longtime. These last years, he has been working on a huge art-book project in which he has recently decided to include a double-CD soundtrack with both old and new sounds. This is the digital version.

Dark Vomal Âme-Code is an alias of Dark Alceste De Socaï Vômie. That CD is available here but I wanted to give it a greater visibility. On that album, Marc Alhanati reads some of his writings with his music as background.

This is Dark Alceste De Socaï Vômie (alias Marc Alhanati) debut LP, one of the few LPs by french artists on RRR label (after X-Ray Pop and Le Syndicat). The second record by Dark Alceste De Socaï Vômie was a mini CD released by SFCR. The third and last record, released under the artist name Dark Vomal Âme-Code, is a CD that is quite obscure and not distributed anymore.
By the early 90s, Marc Alhanati once told me that the tracks he was creating were longer than any available tape lengths, so he could not record them complete. Mp3 has appeared since then but Marc has disappeared. If you read this, Marc, and have unreleased mp3s you would like to share, please let me know...

Dark Alceste De Socaï Vômie was the first name used by french artist Marc Alhanati for his musical project. He was revealed to the post-industrial music network with his debut LP, "Tristesse Psychotronique", released by RRRecords in 1991. "Ondes Neuronales" was his second record. Another CD was later released under the name Dark Vomal Âme-Code, but I've never heard it. In 1995, he performed live at the "Expériences" festival organized by G.M.B.H. label in Paris. I've never heard again about him since then...
