I can't believe I'm releasing Zahgurim's second full-length album (of new material) on my humble net-label, 38 years after their vinyl debut LP, "Moral Rearmament" (1985), which was so important to me - as were most of the records (from that era) by the artists who shared the bill at the 1985 Berlin Atonal festival.

What's more, this album is amazing, and I think many will be surprised by the diversity of musical styles it contains...

СТРАХ I РЕKА (Marina Goussina & Éric Cordier) forges landscapes animated by a warm breeze and traversed by chimeras. Creating sound entities from scratch by assembling nauseating inflorescences with melodic sadness, it seeks to counter the appalling vanity of the world.

СТРАХ I РЕKА elaborates furtive rituals to provoke noisy exsanguinations from electronic conglomerates; synthesizer blasts becoming glacier-sharp frozen rivers.

"Ghost Fractal" is a conflagration of smoking stars, transfiguring our realities into myriad colors and textures. It can be consumed during a heavy sleep.
