Marc Alhanati, who has released several albums under the names Dark Alceste De Socaï Vômie and Dark Vomal Âme-Code, stopped making music for a longtime. "Kristallmacht is dominated by chilling Baroque fugues for pipe organ (Cathedral Of Death), from dark and solemn ceremonial magic (Fortress of Europe), from martial dances of death (Turmtanz), from ballets Fauvist for orchestra and piano (The Birth of The Crystal Power) and funereal tone poems (The Beautiful Side of Evil). On all stands a composition filosogica like The End Of History And The Last Men, a pantomime lilting in the usual way and supported by the usual martial tonalità apocalyptic keyboards, but also imbued with anxiety about the human condition (expressed through a stream of rumors tips as only the most tragic Residents are able to do). The album closes with a sorrowful requiem, Infortunium, reminiscent of the atmosphere desolate timeless Nico, even if it ends with majestic phrases which seems to rise a religious hymn."
